Clocks will last a lifetime if serviced and maintained regularly. I am an independent clock repairer working from Trimley St Mary just outside Felixstowe and can service and/or repair most types of clock.

An antique clock should be serviced approximately every ten years or so to ensure it continues keeping good time and to prevent any unwanted damage. A service includes a full stripdown, inspection, cleaning, rebuilding, lubricating and regulating. It will also identify any components that need repairing or replacing.
